Lucia Jade

The first SW character I created. He was a Jedi who was around the same age - if not slightly older - than Anakin. He survived the Clone Wars and Order 66, and later settled down in hiding to start a family.

Other than the fact that he's had a son, I haven't really thought about his "timeline" that far yet. I did intend to make him Mara's father - thus the last name of Jade - but have yet to confirm that. I also planned for him to turn to the Dark side for a while - which resulted in several Sith pictures, but I don't think I can fit that into the timeline.

Development stage

At this point I was just starting to flesh out his personality, character and abilities, and was also trying a new style of drawing humans. Clearly, he looked too much like Luke.

Intermediate stage

This was when I was considering the "Sith" stage, resulting in all the "Sith eye" drawings.

Current

By this time I'm already starting to build a semblence of timeline, so the Sith stage has got to go... The comic was part of a story I wrote involving Luc, Ani, and a renegade Shistavanen Master.

Orpheus Jade

My second SW character, I created him for the Star Wars Combine Online RPG. Here's his bio I wrote up for the site:-

Orpheus' father was a Jedi Knight - Lucia Jade - during the era of the Old Republic. Lucia survived the Emperor's Jedi Purge, and settled down with a speeder/droid technicion, Millia, on a nondescript planet in order to remain undetected by the Empire. Orpheus' older sister is Mara Jade, who was taken from his father before he was born.

Orpheus grew up rather peacefully, until the Emperor found out that Luc was a surviving Jedi from the Old Republic, and they had to start living on the run, moving from planet to planet in order to avoid capture and Luc's death. Orpheus at this time was about 10 years old. Not too long later, Luc found that his son was Force-sensitive, and started training him. Millia later died of a terminal disease, when Orpheus was 16.

The Empire eventually caught up with them, and Luc was captured. Orpheus, now 20 and a proficient Force-user, somehow escaped, and joined the Renegade Inc., swearing to rescue his father. The Renegades were a group of mercenaries who were originally part of the Repubic Navy. He eventually did, and Luc also joined the Renegades after a time.

Orpheus takes after his father in terms of appearance and habits - they are both slightly sloppy, both have the same face structure and blonde hair, and both pretty much share the same views concerning the Force and the Empire. His personality is a mesh of his parents' - calm and collected under pressure, ruthless and merciless in battle, but compassionate and loving to those he considers friends.

He keeps his hair short; aside from a few bangs in front of his face, his hair is cropped close at the back close to his neck. His eyes are a piercing blue, and he has two ear piercings on his left ear. Around his neck is a JedCred - a coin with the impression of the Jedi logo and a name - given to Corellians who become Jedi. It was given to him by his father as a good luck charm.

He wears a utility jacket on top of a plain gray shirt. The utility jacket holds ammunition, communication devices, bacta patches and other small things he might need. He sometimes puts his lightsaber in his jacket to avoid arousing the suspicion of Imperials. He also wears black gloves on both hands. A belt with a blaster holster hangs loosely around his waist, with the blaster on the right side for convenience. He sometimes hangs his lightsaber from a belt hook on his right leg.
